Le Quai Resto Pub ("Le Quai", "we", "our", "us") takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website [SITE ADDRESS] (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you can exercise over it.

This policy is established in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec), as amended by Law 25, and with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), where applicable.

By browsing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

Nature of our website

Our Site is primarily informational. It presents the restaurant, the menu, our seasonal hours, our events and our contact details. The Site also provides:

  • links to our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram);

  • access to the Libro reservation platform, operated by a third party;

  • online purchase of gift cards, processed by a third-party provider.

We do not operate an online ordering service, a loyalty program or user accounts.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact form or email: your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.

  • Gift card purchase: your name, your email address, the recipient's email address where applicable, the purchase amount and the information required to process payment. Your credit card details are transmitted directly to our payment provider and are neither collected nor stored by us.

  • Job applications, where applicable: the information contained in your resume and application.

Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain technical data is collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on the Site, referring site and approximate location. This information is used in aggregate form for statistical purposes and to improve the Site.

Information not collected through the Site
Reservations made through Libro are processed on that third party's platform. The information you enter there is governed by Libro's own privacy policy. We receive from Libro the information needed to manage your reservation, including your name, party size, time and contact details.

Purposes for which we use your information

We use your personal information only for the following purposes:

  • responding to your questions, comments and requests;

  • processing, issuing and delivering your gift cards, and following up on transactions;

  • managing and confirming your reservations;

  • sending you commercial communications, if you have consented to them;

  • analyzing Site traffic and improving its content and operation;

  • processing job applications;

  • meeting our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Consent

We collect your personal information with your consent, except where the law permits or requires us to act otherwise. Consent is requested separately for each purpose, in clear and simple terms.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the person identified in section 2. Withdrawing your consent may limit our ability to provide certain services, such as processing a gift card purchase.

For commercial communications, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each message.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies, which are small files placed on your device.

Necessary cookies: required for the basic operation of the Site. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies: these help us understand how the Site is used. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information generated may be transmitted to Google and processed outside Quebec.
